Thoughts
The production looks fantastic. Great fight scenes, some good CGI, and nice shots. Costumes are great too!
Song Yi plays the female lead. She’s a general from Jin Dynasty and me love strong female leads. She looks fearless and strong. I’d say that perhaps Song Yi looks way too aesthetical to portray a female general but her acting is pretty convincing here. I have only watched her in My Heroic Husband.
Ryan Cheng plays the male lead. He plays two roles: a high ranking man that suffers from amnesia and the mysterious hero that saves the female lead. I watched Ryan Cheng in My Journey to You and I have been wanting to watch him in other works so I looking forward to see him in a new drama.
This pairing looks really good on screen and I can see some good electrifying chemistry between them.

For supporting characters which we don’t even get to see on neither of the trailers, we have Bi Wen Jun, watched him on Sweet Teeth, Darren Chen from My Unicorn Lady and Ji Xiao Bing who I recently watched on The Prisoner of Beauty. I’m not expecting anything in particular from any of these actors but familiar faces are always welcomed.

The trailer looks interesting, though I’m not entirely sure where the story is headed. It doesn’t reveal much, which I actually think is a good thing. It seems the female lead has a mission that will eventually involve the male lead. We might see some initial clashes between them before the relationship develops into a romance, and eventually, they’ll join forces and fight together. I like the fantasy element surrounding the male lead and his white-haired persona and powers. I just hope the female lead stays consistent throughout the drama. She’s shown being saved several times by the male lead, and I hope they don’t make her overly reliant on him.

I will be watching this one for sure!
